Mentee Attendance and Cancellation Policy
Group Mentoring sessions require a minimum of three (3) participants to ensure a meaningful group experience and cover mentor compensation.
Attendance-Based Rules (Tuition-Included Programs)

Attended 1-2 sessions, then withdraw: Cannot join a different Group Mentoring program, but may access up to 4 Individual Mentoring sessions (subject to availability)

Attended 3+ sessions: Group Mentoring entitlement fully used. Additional sessions will be charged at established rates.
Tuition-Included Group Mentoring (2021 onwards):

More than 3 weeks before start: May join another session at a later date

Less than 3 weeks before start: Entire series forfeited

Sessions carry no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or other programs
Tuition-Included Individual Mentoring (2021 onwards):

More than 48 hours before session: May reschedule

Less than 48 hours before session: Session forfeited

Sessions carry no monetary value and cannot be exchanged
Paid Group Mentoring (not included in tuition):

More than 3 weeks before start: Full refund or reschedule option

Less than 3 weeks before start: No refund
Paid Individual Mentoring (not included in tuition):

More than 48 hours before session: Full refund or reschedule option

Less than 48 hours before session: No refund
Exceptions & Special Circumstances
Medical emergencies or significant extenuating circumstances may warrant exceptions. To request:

Email mbcptt@mindfulbirthing.org as soon as possible

Include description of circumstances and supporting documentation (e.g., medical certificate)

MBPF will respond within 14 days
Exceptions are reviewed case-by-case at MBPF's discretion and do not affect statutory rights under California law.
Cancellation Notice.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to mbcptt@mindfulbirthing.org (and to your mentor for Individual sessions).
