Foundations of Mindful Birthing Endorsed by Australian College of Midwives for 60 CPD Hours; AEST-Friendly Cohort Opens March 2026

The Mindful Birthing & Parenting Foundation announced today that its Foundations of Mindful Birthing course has been endorsed by the Australian College of Midwives (ACM) for 60 CPD hours. The endorsement recognizes the program’s evidence-based, trauma-sensitive approach to reducing stress and improving outcomes for families and providers. It aligns with the National Midwifery Guidelines for Consultation and Referral.


To support Australian professionals, Mindful Birthing will offer a live-online cohort on Fridays (AEST) beginning March 6, 2026, with additional sessions on March 27, April 17, May 8, and May 29.


“Mindful Birthing equips perinatal professionals with brief, usable practices that translate directly to clinical care and to their own well-being,” said Jennifer Averill Moffitt, CNM, Director of Training for the MBPF, Mindful Birthing & Parenting Foundation. “We’re honored by ACM’s endorsement and excited to serve midwives and the broader perinatal community across Australia.”


Course format: Five live dialogic seminars (Zoom), guided practice, discussion/Q&A, and a private classroom for resources and reflection.CPD: ACM-endorsed for 60 CPD hours (certificate upon completion).Learn more mindfulbirthing.org/foundations
