Osher Center for Integrative Medicine,
UCSF Medical Center
The mission of the Osher Center is to search for the most effective treatments for patients by combining both conventional and alternative approaches that address all aspects of health and wellness - biological, psychological, social and spiritual. The MBCP Program is offered at the OCIM, where a Professional Development and Training Program in Mindfulness-Based Childbirth and Parenting will begin in January 2009.

Greater Good Science Center
The MBCP Program is currently collaborating with The Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley. The work of the Center is to highlight the progress made and obstacles encountered in becoming a more benevolent society. Mindfulness in Education
Mindfulness-based Education is an exciting and important new development in K to 12 education. As a powerful tool to decrease stress, enhance academic performance, and promote emotional and social well-being, mindfulness is increasingly recognized as an essential support for students, teachers, school administrators, and parents.

Metta Foundation
Metta offers nonsectarian teachings, publications, and service programs based upon original Buddhist principles and trainings, integrating new approaches to human development, learning and technology. Metta Foundation has fostered the new but traditionally grounded practices of Insight Dialogue and Dharma Contemplation, offering them through retreats, practice groups, and online with members of a worldwide practice community.

Awareness and Relaxation Training
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Programs and a variety of other Mindfulness-Based courses offered at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View and in the Santa Cruz Area. A Mindfulness and Parenting class and a professional training program for health professionals interested in teaching Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction are available at the El Camino Hospital location.

Centering Healthcare Institute (CHI)
Centering Healthcare Institute promotes CenteringPregnancy, CenteringParenting and the Centering models of health care delivery across the lifespan. In this model, health assessment, education and support are provided within a stable group that allows for the development of community between participants and partnership care with providers. A pilot project to develop a Centering with Mindfulness Skills curriculum is currently underway.

InsightLA
InsightLA is dedicated to bringing the deep joy and peace of mindfulness and compassion to people everywhere. Their commitment is to provide a warm, supportive learning environment that fosters mindfulness and compassion in all relationships – with oneself, with others and with the world.
