Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Programs and a variety of other Mindfulness-Based courses offered at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View and in the Santa Cruz Area. A Mindfulness and Parenting class and a professional training program for health professionals interested in teaching Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction are available at the El Camino Hospital location.

Mindfulness in Education

Mindfulness-based Education is an exciting and important new development in K to 12 education. As a powerful tool to decrease stress, enhance academic performance, and promote emotional and social well-being, mindfulness is increasingly recognized as an essential support for students, teachers, school administrators, and parents.

Mindful Living Programs offers a wonderful array of mindfulness courses online, including the highly acclaimed Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course. They also offer Mindfulness Retreats for health care professionals.

 

Metta Foundation
Metta offers nonsectarian teachings, publications, and service programs based upon original Buddhist principles and trainings, integrating new approaches to human development, learning and technology. Metta Foundation has fostered the new but traditionally grounded practices of Insight Dialogue and Dharma Contemplation, offering them through retreats, practice groups, and online with members of a worldwide practice community.

Osher Center for Integrative Medicine,
UCSF Medical Center
The mission of the Osher Center is to search for the most effective treatments for patients by combining both conventional and alternative approaches that address all aspects of health and wellness - biological, psychological, social and spiritual. The MBCP Program is offered at the OCIM and an MBCP Instructor Training Program will begin there in Sept 2008.

Greater Good Science Center
The MBCP Program is currently collaborating with The Center for the Development of Peace and Well-Being at UC Berkeley in a research study of our program on the lives of expectant parents.  The work of the Center is to highlight the progress made and obstacles encountered in becoming a more benevolent society.
